This beautiful villa is special in many ways. It was one of the first built on the hills of this rolling valley in the 1970’s, a time when goat herders roamed the area. A centuries old pilgrimage route was also running right through the land space below. The location is wonderful, close to the sea but high enough in the valley not to be too warm and have a comfortable evening breeze, even in summer.

Our grandmother Olga fell in love with the house and acquired it in 1974. It has been kept as a family holiday home ever since. When she passed away at 104 in 2018 the house was in dire need of renovation. Cousins Tom and Erik decided to pick up this project and fully renovated the house during 2021-2022 to cater to modern visitors needs and more!

A stunning new full size pool was built with a large terrace which highlights the beautiful view of the valley. Gardens were landscaped, a spacious area was built for outside dining and the house was made winter proof with double glazing, heating systems and cosy fireplace. Furthermore, new
custom designed kitchens on both floors and Moorish inspired bathrooms have been built with soft
clean water generated through our filtering system. With the environment in mind, two heat pumps,
solar panels and a light salted pool system have been installed. We continuously expand the lush
gardens and create even more spaces for relaxation and entertainment.

The house is uniquely located within walking distance from the nearest serene bay Cala Baladrar where you can swim and snorkel. There are various tropical fish, octopus and even sea horses to be spotted!
There’s a lovely Xiringuito (Spanish beach bar) to enjoy a drink, have lunch or dine at sunset with a
view of the iconic Ifach rock which rises above the water at a distance.

Aside from its beaches, the area boasts many local fishing towns to visit but also fantastic historical cities like Valencia and Alicante and a rich food culture dominated by the famous Valencian cuisine.
